Million Dollar Idea: Hollywood Actors Should Just try Socialism

With virtually every media award show relegated to a left-wing political rally, it’s clear how Hollywood elites actually see themselves. They aren’t just on-screen entertainment objects for the masses — they are the purveyors of progressive thought.

Now, we’ve written off many a celebrity since we started here, but this post has encouraged a change of heart — maybe actors should be free to show us exactly how magical socialism can be. What do they have to lose? If their woke social theories truly are the future, we can’t see why the likes of George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro or any other A-lister who definitely has the cash would turn down such an opportunity.

However, something tells us that the situation will change entirely when we suggest that they should turn down lucrative blockbuster roles to let 20-something-year-olds who just showed up in LA two weeks ago have the opportunity instead. Surely, Clooney can let just one film go so Jimmy NoName doesn’t have to spend the rest of his life bartending, right?

Socialism really does lose its appeal when it’s your livelihood being put on the chopping block. That said, we fully support Hollywood leading the way in this effort.
