Elon Musk’s buyout of Twitter took place so fast that liberals’ heads didn’t even have time to start spinning. That’s okay though, because the real freakout started after the buyout of anyone. As this meme illustrates, the libs are now worried that Twitter could potentially (gasp!) be used to sway or rig a presidential election.
The horror! As Tucker Carlson jokingly remarked, “Let’s hope that never happens!”
Since everyone else on the planet is giving their hot take on what the Twitter hostile takeover means, we figured we’d share our two cents as well. The takeover of Twitter means memes! Lots of memes!
We’re looking forward to all of the great meme channels that were banned from Twitter for posting scathingly honest memes to be reinstated now. The Twitter algorithm has already been changed, apparently, as floods of banned users are suddenly back on the platform.
And if it’s truly going to be a “free speech” platform, it means there will simply be a lot more memes out there in the world. And that’s a good thing. We’ll chalk it up as a victory!
