Dr. Kavita Patel, who is a former Obama team member, and MSNBC medical contributor, stated on MSNBC’s “José Daz-Balart Reports” this week that an increase in COVID cases indicated it was time to get out the masks.
Transcript in part as follows:
“DIAZ-BALART: You’re not the only one if you have observed that more of your neighbors, friends and loved ones have been testing positive for COVID. Although we haven’t reached historical levels, the CDC reports that COVID hospitalizations are up 11% from last week. Despite this, there are still worries.”
“Dr. Kavita Patel, a former White House policy director under the Obama White House, will join us now with more. She offers medical advice on MSNBC. It’s always a pleasure visiting you, Dr. Patel. So, I believe we’ve all started to notice that it occasionally happens for folks who first believe they have a cold to actually have COVID. What is happening? What do you perceive?”
PATEL: “Well, José, in the clinic we’re observing the same thing. As you mentioned, hospitalizations are increasing here. First of all, some good news. It’s encouraging that we are not witnessing the astronomical increases we did in prior summers or earlier years. That is because a sizable portion of the populace has either contracted the disease and received vaccinations, or both, several times.”
“So, what I feel people must be aware of is that I would just warn people that when you are exposed to such crowded spaces, consider the cost of colds as well as the fact that a lot of individuals do not have any symptoms, a mask may become your best friend, hold onto it—back in the day we had them stored in our pockets, inside our coats, and even inside our backpacks; it’s time to get them out again, especially when the school year begins. Kids not attending school because of issues we might have avoided is something we do not want to see.”

It’s not about masking, it’s about the election! The returning to Covid restriction enables Mail-in-balloting, unverified ballots and ballot harvesting. All of which Democrats are very good at, Biden can stay in his basement, no debates, which would help hide his declining mind, the supervision of ballots would be performed from distances of 500 feet or more, it would end up as another chaotic election where votes would still be counted 3 weeks later! There is no reason with todays technology that our election results aren’t posted the night of the election! It’s a scam!!!!!

So true! There is no reason we can’t have results the night of the election. We had same day results when I first started voting, and back then (I know, I’m dating myself) we used the machines where you had to flip a switch and then pull a lever to “set” your votes. The machines were tabulators, and the results were immediate. Once your lever was pulled, you couldn’t change your vote, or vote again. Technology has become a way for Democrats to cheat.

The promoters think we are absolutely stupid! The masks do NOT work, yet that’s what they promote. They are silent about what DOES work (Ivermectin, for instance). Hopefully, for anyone who contracts the new strain and ends up in the hospital, the same treatment of choice by the medical community will not be used again as THAT is what killed people, not the virus. While I agree with your setiments you are dead wrong about viruses in the hot summer. The only thing about the heat would be its ability to dry things/surfaces out more making them more inhospitable to virus longevity. On the other hand warm moist surfaces do just the opposite.
