Joe Biden’s wife gave a speech on Monday in which she compared the diversity of Hispanics to the uniqueness of San Antonio breakfast tacos. It’s starting to feel like maybe the Democrat Party has a messaging problem with Hispanics.
For those who don’t recognize this meme, it’s originally from a 1990s Japanese anime cartoon in which a guy confuses a butterfly with a pigeon. The meme is used to express bewilderment and confusion, such as Jill Biden confusing a Hispanic family with a taco.
Doctor Jill Biden (because we’re required to call her a doctor, since she’s really smart) also butchered the pronunciation of “bodegas,” referring to them as “bogodas.” Whatever those are.
Pro Tip: If you’re going to brazenly pander to a constituency based on their skin color, at least learn how to pronounce stuff.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had a great response to Jill Biden’s gaffe as well: “You know, speaking of tacos, the price of their ingredients are going up.”
