Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the United States, although defenders of the organization (despite usually arguing that abortion really isn’t that bad) are normally quick to point out that this is not their most common service.
But, does this defense of the nation’s largest abortion provider really constitute an argument? What would it look like if we applied this same logic to say…Bill Cosby and sexual assault?
Cosby was rightfully convicted of sexually assault after reports surfaced revealing the celebrity has been drugging women before making advances on them throughout the entirety of his career. But, surely he wasn’t spending every waking minute doing exactly this, right? How much time did he spend in front of a camera or on a stage?
Obviously, this is a pretty lame defense — and this demonstrative of why conservatives don’t really care too much about Planned Parenthood’s other services.
