How Cory Booker Truly Sees Himself Every Day

It’s official: New Jersey Senator Cory “Spartacus” Booker is running for president, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

Booker is the latest in a long line of Democrats to announce a presidential campaign, making the 2020 field of candidates already looking very crowded. Things get even more complicated when you consider the fact that Senator Booker, like Senator Kamala Harris, will without a doubt run an intersectional identity politics campaign designed to stroke the fears and race-based loyalty of voters who actually believe that race matters. It will be very interesting to see Booker and Harris battle it out over who is the better person of color…

As the campaign heats up, it’s worth looking back at some of the gems Booker has given us in just a few short years time. Remember, this man claimed he cried “tears of rage” when he found out that President Trump may have referred to some third world countries as “s–tholes”. He also generously compared himself to Spartacus, the Roman gladiator who staged a slave rebellion against the Roman government at the time. Such a humble guy, right?
