Here’s a trend that every Republican officeholder except for Mitch McConnell is paying attention to. 80 percent of the dummies who voted to impeach Donald Trump have gotten wrecked in their primary elections this year. People who never imagined running for Congress in the past are now headed to the general election on November 8, because they ran for and squashed eight of the ten incumbents pictured here.
Out of the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump, only Dan Newhouse of Washington state and David Valadao of California survived their primaries. And that doesn’t mean those two will win in the general election. Republican voters still might vote to kick those two out of office.
