Hollywood’s Moral Compass Exposed

This is perhaps the most ironic image you’ll see today, maybe all week.

American film producer Harvey Weinstein has been in the crosshairs of just about every media outlet after a slew of actresses confirmed his gross sexual misconduct. While Weinstein’s behavior is certainly deplorable, the revelation is bringing the entire Hollywood establishment under scrutiny.

With comedy gags referencing this behavior going back nearly a decade, there’s certainly evidence to suggest many industry insiders were perfectly aware of what was going on and chose to remain silent anyway.

So much for the quote in the image…

At this point, it would be foolish to believe Weinstein’s sexual misconduct was isolated. If one of the most notable producers in the industry felt safe in continuing with this behavior for years, there is likely a corrupt culture that plagues the entire industry.

Even more telling is the liberal establishment’s response to this. The Clinton’s waited days to disavow the producer — the same people who slammed President Donald Trump for not disavowing white supremacists like David Duke.
