Over the course of the weekend, Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago saw 33 shootings, five of which resulted in fatalities.
Breitbart News reports that between Friday night into Saturday night, 21 people were shot, four of whom died.
A three-year-old boy who was shot and killed during what appears to have been a road rage incident was one of the shooting fatalities on Friday.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, there were 33 shooting victims overall and five shooting fatalities as of Monday morning.
Following a dispute, a man was shot and murdered “in the 300 block of West Division Street” at around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday. The individual was discovered by police with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the pavement.
Chicago saw a violent month in September 2022, with 55 individuals being shot over the course of Labor Day weekend alone, 11 of them fatally. The following weekend, September 9–11, saw the shooting of up to 30 people, five of whom died.
Nearly 60 people were shot over the third weekend of the month, September 16–18, nine of whom died. And throughout the course of the final weekend in September 2022, about 40 people were shot, four of whom died.
The longer we allow Democrat’s to stay in charge, the closer we come to being placed under Marshall Law. At that point we will lose all of our freedoms, rights, and privileges. Then we will be no better than Russia or China.
