Never mind the fact that former Trump attorney and convicted felon Michael Cohen has already admitted that he knows nothing about any sort of collusion between his old boss and the Russian government — Congressional Democrats are willing to platform anyone willing to publicly slander the President of the United States, so that’s exactly what they did.
Remember why we’re doing this in the first place: the allegation is that Donald Trump is an illegitimate president because he supposedly colluded with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016. That’s why we have to interrupt every news cycle every time there is a half-leak from the Special Counsel’s office. It’s why we’re still talking about this conspiracy theory a full two years after we first heard about it.
Michael Cohen offered absolutely nothing to that conversation. He was, however, willing to testify on Capitol Hill that the president is a racist and just a bad person overall. He did nothing to substantiate his incredible claims, but the mainstream media fawned over it anyway.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump was in Vietnam negotiating with North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-Un in a move that could finally pacify the Korean Peninsula — something thought unthinkable just a few short years ago. This is a historical moment by any objective measure, but the media wanted nothing to do with it.
Sure, there’s no agenda here…
