Fact: Most Americans Would Choose to Live in Norway Over Haiti

President Donald Trump once again found himself in the crosshairs of every media outlet in the country after it was reported that he referred to the third world as a collection of “sh-thole countries” during his bipartisan immigration meeting.

The comment allegedly targeted Haiti in particular, prompting countless talking heads to find creative ways to suggest that the impoverished island nation is somehow a nice place to live.

During the meeting, Trump apparently doubled down on these statements, saying that he would rather welcome immigrants from countries like Norway — which has a relatively high standard of living and isn’t exactly known to be a hotbed of violence or political instability.

Rather than taking the obvious point that the president would be more receptive to more stable, wealthy countries, leftists in the media and on Capitol Hill began playing the typical racism card.

To get a guage on how outlandish this sentiment actually is, libertarian vlogger Julie Borowski posted a poll on her Twitter page asking her followers where they would rather live. Not surprisingly, participants overwhelmingly chose the nordic country, leading her to sarcastically refer to her followers as “bigots” in an obvious jab at the mainstream media.
