Biden Called Out For Enraging Border Hypocrisy

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) criticized the Biden administration on Saturday for its readiness to use taxpayer funds to support border security in other nations but not the United States, claiming that this is all a part of the president’s plan to change the nation and “shift the overall demographics of America in a manner that is beneficial to them at the election box.”

Hagerty recently questioned Biden’s choice for ambassador to Jordan, Yael Lempert. In her testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Lempert acknowledged that she is in favor of American taxpayers supporting border security measures in Jordan, which is ironic considering the Biden administration’s opposition to securing the American border.

“When I mentioned that we were financing a border wall in Jordan, I asked if it was effective, and she said yes, it was for preventing things like people crossing the physical border as well as drug smuggling. She made that point. Consider what’s occurring at our southern border, where over 100,000 people die each year from drug overdoses.”

“The top killer of young people between the ages of 18 and 45 in America today is drug overdose,” Hagerty added, referring to the drug influx over the southern border.

He pointed out the huge hypocrisy, saying, “That’s the cartels collaborating with the CCP murdering American youth, and the Biden administration intends to do nothing to stop that here, while they are using our hard-earned funds in other countries to construct and protect their borders.”

“Once again, this Biden administration candidate agreed that those monies would be, quote, ‘successfully spent to maintain physical border protection, to block people from entering, and to keep narcotics out.'” He criticized the hypocrisy of the Biden administration and questioned “why it didn’t apply in America.”

Hagerty stated that this demonstrates the “true deep fraud being perpetrated on America,” echoing Biden’s initial call to “transform America.”

“The first thing they do is destroy our border wall; they also wage war on domestic energy in the United States, but they destroy the border wall on day one. What made them do that?” he inquired, noting estimates that six million people had crossed the border illegally since Biden entered office.

“This is part of America’s transformation.” Take a step back and attempt to uncover a reason for it. “I can assure you it’s not humanitarian,” the senator said, saying that this is part of a larger campaign to “shift the overall demographics of America in a manner that is beneficial to them at the ballot box.”

“Consider the location of the sanctuary cities. ‘Blue states,'” he remarked, underlining that it is “all about power at the conclusion of the day.”

“Here we had their witnesses approaching President Biden’s representative in another country, stating unequivocally that physical border security is effective.” We should pay for it using US taxpayer cash in order to safeguard Jordanian inhabitants from the flow of migrants crossing the border and bringing narcotics and human trafficking with them. It’s the hypocrisy,” he said.

Hagerty also addressed the reality of Title 42’s repercussions, stating that border patrol personnel would be “completely overwhelmed.”

“It was as if a cloud had descended on the room. It was so demoralizing,” said Hagerty, who happened to be at the border when Biden first revealed his administration’s decision to abolish Title 42.

“It serves as the last tool that the Border Patrol patrol officers had to attempt to safeguard and defend the border,” he said, adding that he had introduced a Title 42 amendment three times on the Senate floor.

“I’ve been blocked three times by Democrats. They’ll have to block me again this week because I’m reintroducing it,” he continued.
