Where James Comey’s “Higher Loyalty” Really Lies…

Former FBI Director James Comey is back in the news after the release of his highly-marketed book titled “Higher Loyalty” — a dig at the supposed “loyalty pledge” he claims he was asked to make after Donald Trump was sworn into the presidency.

Comey kicked off his media marathon by sitting down with ABC News’ George Stephanopolous, a former Clinton administration employee with deep connections to the mainstream Democratic establishment. The interview didn’t reveal anything Americans didn’t already know, and consisted of a lot of ad hominem attacks on President Trump.

So, what exactly are Comey’s motivations? Considering he’s out of a job and waited a year before released his “bombshell” work, it’s pretty clear: Comey needs a paycheck.

It’s fascinating how the media is treating Comey and his book — with the fanaticism surrounding it matched only by the highly fictionalized Fire and Fury book released earlier this year. According to the Democratic narrative, Comey was instrumental in getting Donald Trump elected. Now, he’s suddenly seen as an honest whistleblower standing up for the good of the American democratic process.

We’re still waiting for the media to make up its mind.
