We’ve Found the Perfect Replacement for the Cleveland Indians

The sports media world has been giving the politically correct ownership of the Cleveland Indians a tongue bath this week for changing the name of the team to the Cleveland Guardians. Except… whoops! There’s already a different professional team in Cleveland known as the Guardians.

So, now the professional roller derby team known as the Cleveland Guardians is in a trademark dispute with the woke baseball team Guardians.

It seems like somebody in the office should have checked to see whether there was another professional sports team with the exact same name already in existence before making their big announcement.

But when you’re being woke and politically correct, you can’t pause for legal details like trademarks!
And for those who don’t know, the Cleveland Spiders baseball team changed their name to the Indians in 1915 to honor a great Native American ballplayer named Louis Sockalexis. There go the woketards again – erasing minorities to honor them!

This meme has an alternative option for a new name for Cleveland’s woke baseball team. They should just call themselves the Cleveland Warrens!
