Want To Lose Weight? Try Socialism!

Here’s a bit of dark humor to brighten up your day…

We’re not sure exactly when this happened, but apparently some hero trolling around Barnes and Noble felt like telling completely strangers exactly how he (or she?) feels about communism and it’s actual applications.

In case you haven’t noticed, the person in question placed the works of Karl Marx — the godfather of modern socialism — in the ‘Diet and Nutrition’ section, because nothing helps people lose weight faster than seizing the means of production.

Admittedly, this may be a bit insensitive considering that Venezuelans have reported actually losing weight since Hugo Chavez took over their country. They have even dubbed the weight loss phenomenon throughout the country as the “Maduro Diet” in a direct jab to their current leader, who was handpicked by Chavez himself.

Now, we can only assume the left will respond by saying that this was somehow “not real socialism,” as they’ve been doing ever since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Surely, we are overdo for one more try, right? It will definitely work this time — at the very least, we’ll all lose some weight.
