If the modern left’s platform can be summed up in a single sentence, it’s “if you opinions don’t match mine, you’re a Nazi.”
It’s interesting how the Nazis, out of any other horrible group of psychotic killers to plague the political atmosphere, is the left’s go-to insult for everyone who steps out of their tightly confined window of acceptable opinions. Not only have communist regimes killed a lot more people, they did so far more recently.
Of course, the Third Reich was a horrific despotic regime that should have never came into being. But, thanks to Hitler’s erratic leadership and the heroic deeds of the Allied powers during the Second World War, Nazi Germany was destroyed after just 13 years of existence.
This doesn’t stop critics of President Donald Trump from making constant comparisons to the Nazi leader. In some instances, the parallels identified seem just as arbitrary as this meme. At some point, people reading this might not be able to tell that the image to the left was intended to be satire.
