“Trump is a Dictator!” — Liberal Hysteria Reaches a New Level

President Donald Trump has asked the Department of Defense to explore possible dates for a military parade, and his critics are convinced Washington, DC is about to transform into Tiananmen Square.

Now, this isn’t the first time the president has been condemned as a dictator on social media — and it certainly won’t be the last. But, the level of hysteria is starting to reach a dangerous level.

We’d like to remind everyone who takes this meme seriously to consider the following: how frequently do they publicly criticize or even outright slander the president on social media — or perhaps even in public spaces in the real world? How often has a secret police force shown up to squash dissent, as has been commonplace in authoritarian dictatorships like Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany?

The answer is zero. The president is routinely mocked on late night comedy shows, media award programs, cable news networks, and just about everywhere else.

We’ve said this several times before, but apparently it bares repeating: if Donald Trump is a dictator, he’s pretty terrible at it.
