Since the release of the Access Hollywood tape just weeks before the general election in November 2016, feminists have been railing against now President Donald Trump for having a supposed animosity towards women. Ironically, this hostility appears to go both ways.
Let’s be honest here for a second: Trump does not have a stellar record with the opposite sex. The fact that the man’s multiple marriages often evolved out of extra-marital affairs are testament to this. However, there is a clear difference between being a sleaze and advocating for treating people differently based on sex.
The latter is exactly what modern day feminists are arguing for. Despite their lip service to feel-good concepts such as gender equality, their rhetoric in recent years has been nothing short of simply anti-male. If they truly were interested in leveling the playing field between the sexes, they would be less concerned in a pay gap that doesn’t exist in any western culture, and far more concerned with the fact that male suicides dramatically outnumber suicides by women — the same goes for work-related deaths.
Then again, modern feminism isn’t really about equality at all – it’s about control by any means necessary.
