Is Trump Done For? Signal-Gate Poll Reveals Shocking Truth

Turns out the liberal media’s latest tantrum over a so-called “Signal leak” didn’t even cause a ripple in the real world. While coastal elites shrieked about encrypted group chats and “national security,” everyday Americans shrugged — and stood firm behind President Donald J. Trump.

According to a new CBS News poll released Sunday, President Trump holds a rock-solid 50% approval rating nationwide — even after the Atlantic’s editor got mistakenly added to a Signal chat discussing a successful strike on Houthi terrorists. Americans clearly understand: the mission was accomplished, the right people were taken out, and President Trump’s national security team is getting the job done.

Despite breathless headlines, the poll confirms that the supposed messaging mishap is “not tied to evaluations of Mr. Trump overall.” Translation: Nobody outside MSNBC cares.

Where President Trump really shines is on immigration — the issue that helped fuel his 2016 victory and is once again proving to be a winning issue in 2025.

A clear majority of Americans, 53%, approve of how Trump is handling immigration. That includes his signature effort to deport illegal migrants, which 58% of Americans say they support. That’s a political landslide in today’s divided America.

After years of chaos under Biden — open borders, overwhelmed cities, migrant crimes, and sanctuary insanity — Americans are ready for a serious adult in the room. And with Vice President JD Vance and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem helping execute the mission, that’s exactly what they’re getting.

Even on the economy — where things remain tough for American families — Trump is holding strong. Nearly half of Americans (48%) approve of the way he’s handling economic issues.

And when it comes to inflation, the culprit is still clear to voters: 38% say Joe Biden is more responsible for today’s inflation, compared to just 34% who blame Trump. That’s a remarkable stat, given Biden’s been out of office for over a year. His legacy of reckless spending, Green New Deal fantasy economics, and anti-energy lunacy is still haunting America.

One of the more fascinating results from the CBS poll: Trump’s historic crackdown on the bloated federal government is going over better than the media wants to admit. His cuts to federal agencies — led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — received even approval, with 50% of respondents supporting his efforts to downsize Washington.

That means one thing: the American people are sick of paying six-figure salaries to bureaucrats who spend their days pushing DEI nonsense and climate propaganda.

Despite the mainstream media’s obsession with group chats and clickbait drama, the American people are focused on results. And Trump’s delivering.

From border security to cleaning up the federal swamp, President Trump’s agenda is resonating — and he’s gaining momentum heading into what could be one of the most consequential election cycles in U.S. history.
