Republicans in America have had to grapple with this insult for a long time now.
Due to the Republican Party’s strong appeal among traditionalists and deeply religious individuals (Evangelicals in particular), conservatives are often written off as being anti-science, anti-evolution, and whatever else.
The left substantiates such claims by pointing to religious conservatives like Ted Cruz, suggesting their skepticism over climate change is due to to some sort of inability to acknowledge scientific studies. Of course, the global scientific community still debates on humanity’s contribution to major climate trends, but that’s a topic for another time.
Today, let’s talk about the left’s grip on “science” — which is apparently loose at best.
Progressive icons such as Bill Nye “the Science Guy” (an individual with no scientific education whatsoever) regularly pay homage to the idea that basic biological facts don’t exist. This includes not only the fact that there are only two proven genders, but that such genders are different from one another.
By embracing the “transgender” movement and similar trends which claim there are third, fourth, and 50+ genders, progressives have effectively surrendered their right to claim to be the on the scientific side of history.
