Still reeling from its humiliating loss to President Donald Trump in November 2016, the Democratic National Committee is suing the Trump campaign, the Russian government, WikiLeaks, and every boogeyman they think is responsible.
Naturally, news of the lawsuit opened the DNC up to considerable criticism — much of it deserved when accounting for how it handled its own selection process during the campaign.
As Infowars commentator Paul Joseph Watson points out in this tweet, Hillary Clinton was essentially coronated as soon as the campaign started. While Bernie Sanders clearly had far more of a movement behind him, Clinton insiders in the DNC weren’t willing to pay fair. During debates, Clinton was clearly gifted easier questions, and the party’s reliance on “super delegates” essentially rendered popular support irrelevant.
The DNC simply has no room to throw stones here, but considering how they’ve been acting over the past year by obsessing over unverified rumors, there’s no reason to expect them to change course at this point.
