Obama Seen Shaking Hands with His Favorite Person

Former President Barack Obama was a lot of things: humble was never one of them.

In a way, Obama was one of the most blatantly egotistical politicians in modern American history. The only reason many Americans don’t realize it is how confident and charismatic he is. To his credit, his charisma and sense of humor were his most effective political assets. He really did have a gift for making terrible ideas sound amazing — at least for Americans who don’t pay too much attention.

Ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, Obama did what he does best — he hit the campaign trail to support Democrats. During the tour, he knew the most important thing he had to do was discredit the booming economy, which most Americans still attribute to President Donald Trump and the Republican Congress.

Never mind the fact that Americans are keeping more of their own money, and the fact that low-income workers are actually receiving end of the year bonuses from their employers — and definitely ignore the fact that unemployment roles for blacks and hispanics are at all time lows. There is nothing for which Obama will not take credit — except the recession that plagued the majority of his presidency. That was totally Bush’s fault.
