NY Times Publishes a Blatantly Racist Op-Ed

Before we break down the calamity that is the New York Times’ editorial board, take a good look at the image to the left and ask yourself the question: which one is real? Keep the current year in mind while participating in this exercise.

If the screenshot on the left was you’re guess, you are correct. If you’re asking yourself how it was possible that such a column cleared all the hurdles before appearing in one of the most prominent newspapers in America, the jury’s still out on that one.

This should go without saying, but we’ll spell it out anyway for the people in the back: both images are viciously racist, and should never see the light of day either in print or anywhere else.

In the (actual) article referenced in this meme, a black college professor claims that the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America has turned every melanin-deficient individual into a suspected bigot. Because of this, he fears he has to tell his children to maintain an active distrust of every individual who doesn’t look the same as he does.

This is sick.

Normally, we would say we expect better from the New York Times, but apparently such standards no longer exist.
