No, Left-wing Rage Didn’t Create Weekends

Throughout President Trump’s first year in office, we’ve seen exactly how liberals take it when they lose.

While the American right stage exclusively peaceful protests in the form the Tea Party Movement in 2010 to resist Barack Obama, the left seems to be okay with throwing rocks at police, and labeling everything that moves a Nazi to resist Donald Trump.

According to one “blue check mark” on Twitter, however, this sort of rage is nothing when compared with the gross historic atrocities of the right — namely white ethno-nationalists and other Nazi sympathizers.

The left, by contrast, expressed its benevolent rage in the form of holidays. Yes…this person is seriously crediting the left with creating the weekend.

Here’s a quick reality check: the weekend as we’ve come to know it today was created by capitalist Henry Ford as a way to attract the most motivated labor force possible. It was a private sector creation.

The Ku Klux Klan, on the other hand, has never once had much to do with the contemporary right at all. Let us not forget the group began as a club for disgruntled Democrats after the South was defeated in the Civil War.
