One of the rules of creating great memes is that you want to embrace the insults that your enemies hurl at you and then double down on it and amplify it. This meme does that very nicely.
The Democrats and the media instantly started in with their whole “Let’s ban AR-15s because they’re weapons of war” BS within moments of a deranged Democrat party incel shooting up a grocery store in Buffalo New York recently. Never mind the fact that the AR-15 is used less often than hammers, fists and feet to kill people in the US every year, according to FBI statistics.
Most gun lovers know that the AR-15 is actually just a glorified semiautomatic squirrel rifle (.223? Come on!). But leftists don’t. They see a scary black Bushmaster and they automatically wet themselves and start calling for your civil rights to be suspended.
The New Right is not like the old Republican Party that’s simply going to roll over and surrender incrementally to the left. We push back with memes like this, and we double down on their insults, and we fight. They’re not going to like us!
I recommend substituting “scary little black rifle” for assault rifle” since I have similar semi-auto rifles from 1907 (Winchester) and 1908 (Remington) that are much more powerful that the much maligned AR.
Since their stocks are made of wood, however, nobody calls them -gasp- “military style assault weapons”.
Only a fool thinks they can control guns – or anything else – with unrestricted open borders.
Many of the same people screaming about guns are screaming because Roe v Wade may be overturned. Does anyone who supports killing babies – even after they have been delivered really give a damn about kids in schools?
