Talk about hitting the nail on the head. One of the biggest disappointments of the 2020 election season was the moment on election night when Fox News did that major 180-degree backstabbing move against their core audience.
We all thought that Fox News, while occasionally liberal in some of its news coverage, was still staffed with a lot of like-minded people who shared the values of normal Americans. And then smack-dab in the middle of election night, we all realized that they had turned into a bunch of pathetic Biden throne-sniffers like CNN.
As conservatives, we’re pretty used to being betrayed by institutions and even individuals that we thought were on our side. But this one really stings.
To watch Fox News suddenly turn into just another fake news website in the blink of an eye was a massive betrayal. And ad their viewership plunges and never comes back, they’ll only have themselves to blame for it.
Who is Fox News even trying to appeal to? It’s not like liberals will ever forgive them and welcome them into the fold.
