Just Ignore the Drug Boats, Focus on Mask-less Fishermen Instead

This meme reminded us of one of the most absurd and totalitarian things that happened back when the first COVID lockdowns got underway (15 days to flatten the curve!). Remember when that surfer out on the ocean all by himself got arrested? That was not cool at all, totalitarian fascist overlords. Not. Cool.

We thought this meme might have been a joke when we first saw it, because its premise is so ridiculous. But we looked it up and, sure enough, it’s 100% true.

Instead of interdicting drug boats or rescuing human slaves from traffickers on the high seas, Joe Biden has given the US Coast Guard a new directive: Board commercial fishing vessels and harass the business owners to make sure that all the fishermen are wearing masks while they’re out on the ocean.

This is so disgusting and embarrassing. During President Trump’s first year in office, when he put the Coast Guard back to work doing its actual job, the Coast Guard intercepted $6 billion in cocaine. Six… Billion…

In 2019, the Coast Guard captured a narco submarine that was headed up the East Coast of the US. It was loaded with drugs. That was awesome. Go back and look at the video sometime. But the “Big Guy” leading the Biden crime family has better things for the Coast Guard to do now — like harassing commercial fishermen to make sure they’re not spreading COVID.
