On the day of our nation’s first totally legit inauguration behind razor wire, we made a point to check out the price of gas at the cheapest station near our headquarters. We wanted to chronicle just how bad the impact of a “Biden presidency” would be on family budgets.
How high are gas prices? According to this meme, even Willy Nelson and that Snoopy Dog fellow are starting to get a bit bleary-eyed. That’s really high!
More specifically, the price for one gallon of unleaded fuel has jumped up by 70 cents per gallon since the day of that unquestionably legitimate inauguration guarded by thousands of armed soldiers. That’s quite an increase, considering the fact that America was actually energy independent just a couple of months ago when Donald Trump was in office.
The price for a gallon milk locally just jumped up by 60 cents in the past week, as Biden’s fuel increases have started trickling out into the broader economy. It’s starting to look like we’re just going to jump right over inflation and straight into hyper-inflation under Biden.
