Democratic presidential candidate and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren enjoys frontrunner status in her party’s primary every now and again, but that typically doesn’t last long. Every single time she’s landed in front, it hasn’t taken long for former Vice President Joe Biden to steal the spot right back.
Why is this? Warren has been a progressive favorite for years at this point. And, she actually seems to have her feet in two camps at once. Yes, she’s an ideological leftist who wants to fundamentally transform the United States of America. But, she’s also a corporate Democrat who is happy to accept huge sums of cash from large, wealth donors. In a weird way, she’s sort of the middle ground between Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
But, she isn’t going to be the nominee. One thing you may have noticed if you’ve been following her campaign is that Warren’s polling tends to surge when she rolls out a new policy proposal, usually something she stole from Bernie Sanders. Those numbers take an immediate dumb as soon as she’s in front of a camera.
This is because Elizabeth Warren is extremely off-putting. She has the same mechanical style of laughter that Hillary Clinton is known for, doesn’t seem to possess any social skills, and has been lying about her past for years.
She may not ever be president, but you can bet she will have a legacy to leave behind…
