All of the supposed alleged “variants” of coronavirus have been given scary-sounding names based on the Greek alphabet. Just a few days ago, health officials were warning about the “Nu” variant which was in Botswana or some wretched place.
A few days later, doctors in South Africa identified the “Omicron” variant. Because of course they did. There’s just one teensy little problem with that, however. The Greek letter “Xi” is supposed to come between “Nu” and “Omicron” in the Greek alphabet.
Gosh, why do you suppose they skipped over the letter “Xi” when it comes to naming alleged-but-probably-not-real variants of the Chinese coronavirus? Anyone who has been paying attention for the last two years – ever since China released the Chinavirus from the virus lab in China – knows exactly why they skipped over “Xi.”
