As a reminder to everyone who thinks that President Trump should just appease his enemies by releasing his tax returns… Barack Hussein Obama waited until his second term in office before he bothered to release that copy of his birth certificate. And Obama never bothered to explain how he ended up with a non-Hawaiian social security number. Just putting that out there…
Meanwhile, this meme raises an excellent point for everyone who is saying that Obama committed treason by trying to subvert the 2016 election. You have to be an American to commit treason against America – there has never been a time when Obama seemed the least bit proud to be an American. Even if said birth certificate is legit, you’d be hard-pressed to find any footage of the man saying a single positive thing about his alleged country of origin. Even during his presidency, Obama used every opportunity he could to apologize for America existing at all.
Barack Obama himself used to insist that he was not born in America (and therefore was not a US citizen) back in the days before he went into politics. His law firm brochures stated that he was “Kenyan-born.” Whoops.
Maybe he just took a page from the Elizabeth Warren playbook for the sake of being a diversity hire…who knows.
So, before we get all excited about Barack Obama being charged with treason, just remember that he might have an ace up his sleeve. He might not be an American, which would mean that his actions against Trump were not technically treason!
