Over the past few weeks, the American left has been lamenting over the Trump administration’s enforcement of border policy, and subsequent decision to not detain children alongside the adults they arrive across the border with.
The narrative we’ve been fed is that Republicans are cruel, heartless monsters that don’t care about children. The Democrats, by contrast, are putting children first by effectively campaigning for all of them (and their “parents”) to simply be released into the interior of the United States with no further vetting.
But, as we’ve explained here before, it’s impossible to take any leftists seriously when he or she (or…them?) cry out “think of the children!” — because this logic apparently only applies to those lucky enough to escape from the womb.
The Democratic policy on abortion “rights” for women is painfully clear. They believe it’s a woman’s choice, and therefore there should really be no legal limit for abortion at all. This doesn’t really mesh well with their sudden border policy, does it?
