Election Audits Seem to Give Joe Biden a Burst of Energy

Whooo-eee! Look at him go! As soon as the Pennsylvania state senate announced that they’d be conducting a full forensic audit of the 2020 election results, it looked like somebody lit a fire under Joe Biden. The White House scrambled to quickly cobble together a hasty trip to Philadelphia, so that Joe Biden could deliver a speech about how icky and undemocratic election audits are.

We haven’t seen Joe Biden this animated in decades. And this meme is mostly true: Biden has now spent more time campaigning to stop election audits than he spent campaigning for president. He seems really worked up about something!

We have the Arizona audit results looming and expected to arrive sometime in early August. The Georgia ballot exam in Fulton County has revealed enough fraudulent votes to sway that state’s results to Donald Trump. And now here comes Pennsylvania.

Maybe Joe Biden is animated and worried about the audits because those three states have enough electoral college votes between them to overturn the 2020 election. But we wouldn’t know anything about that.
