Did FDR Ever Have to Deal with Questions Like This?

Hack “journalist” Paula Reid had an epic meltdown during the daily coronavirus briefings with President Trump’s team in the White House. This event was a new low for the White House press corps – a group of fake news hacks that is so embarrassing at its job that CNN’s Jim Acosta is a member.

Here you see Paula Reid superimposed in a photo from 1941, demanding to know why President Roosevelt kept calling Pearl Harbor a ‘Japanese’ attack. Too funny!

But Paula Reid’s meltdown the other day was just as ridiculous as that scenario. If you’re going to be allowed into the press briefing room, you have a number of rules and protocols that you must abide by.

One of those is that you never interrupt the President of the United States when he is speaking. You’re just a little worm reporter and when the president speaks, your next question can wait until the leader of the free world is done speaking. (And that’s not a new rule that appeared just because Trump was elected; it applies to all presidents.)

The news media lost all its credibility years ago when it became Hillary Clinton’s full-time cheerleading squad to beat Trump. They’ve only become more disreputable since then.
