One of the reasons why we love memes so much (and why leftists despise them) is their ability to shatter the official media-approved narrative into a million pieces. We’ve heard nothing since January 6th other than that the peaceful march in DC was violent insurrectionist riot by dangerous Trump MAGA hatters, which was highly coordinated and “deadly.”
But then, a meme like this comes along and just crushes that narrative completely. “Duck Dynasty and a guy in a Chewbacca bikini!” Yeah, that looks super-organized and simultaneously very dangerous and scary, guys.
Congress was “under siege!” AOC almost died several times! The guy in the buffalo hat had zip ties in his pocket and was trying to capture Mike Pence!
When the special forces shock troops for your insurrection look like the escaped from the Justin Trudeau Dress-up Fan Club and stop to pose for pictures like this, then you’re probably not really dealing with an actual “violent” insurrection.
