Memers have been on a roll lately when satirizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s “knife control” policies, and we couldn’t resist sharing another one with you all.
As we’ve reported on several times before, memes like this began rolling out when Khan announced that only “cowards” carry knives when it became apparent that his city was experiencing a spike in violent crime involving sharp objects.
It should be noted that Britain already has insanely strict laws when it comes to purchasing knives at all. Even in Scotland, citizens are required to be at least 16-years-old to buy one. If this sounds patently ridiculous to you, it’s because it is.
In this image, we see a collection of children’s toys being labelled as the latest “bust” by British policemen. The way things are going, this may be more of a prophecy than it is a meme. After all, if knives are out of the question, who’s to say that hammers and other tools aren’t next?
