Associated Press Bias Exposed

The Associated Press, often shorthanded as “the AP”, is typically regarded as the most neutral source of news you can find.

Due to their extensive reach and resources, the outlet is constantly referenced by mainstream cable networks during their broadcasts. Many mainstream websites, including both CNN and Fox News, will often simply aggregate the AP’s material to use as their own.

Despite this public perception of the AP as the arbiter of truth without bias, a quick look at the tweets in the image to the left call the outlet’s reputation into question.

Apparently, when former President Barack Obama and the Democrats proposed massive budgets, it was seen as an act of progressive generosity and a commitment to governance. When President Donald Trump and the Republicans do the exact same thing, it’s written off as being woefully irresponsible.

All of this begs the question — what else has the AP been biased about?
