If they gave out awards for unintentional comedy, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) would have won for the original photograph used in this meme. For those who don’t remember, she pretended to break down and cry in front of “ICE detention center” where the Bad Orange Man was keeping illegal alien kids in cages.
Except it turned out that she wasn’t in front of an ICE detention center. This was just a fence in front of an empty parking lot. The ICE facility was as real as her tears.
We’re going to miss this dimwitted one-woman meme machine when she’s gone from Congress next year. It looks like Ocasio-Cortez’s challenger stands a good chance of unseating her. It doesn’t help that AOC has ticked off Nancy Pelosi, who is refusing to back the ditzy former bartender-turned-climate-scholar in her reelection bid.
Oh, who are we kidding! We won’t really miss Ocasio-Cortez. If she loses her reelection bid, she’ll be given her own show on CNN or MSNBC immediately. And do you know what that means?
