Andrew Cuomo Resigning Because of the Nursing Home – Oh Wait…

Okay, confession time: We think that Andrew Cuomo’s face fits really well in the nearly universal Annakin-Padme meme by now. Whatever that is. We’re not Harry Potter experts here at Facts Not Memes, so don’t quote us directly on nerd stuff.

Anyway, it looks like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) political career is officially over. The surprising thing of Cuomo’s resignation is that it’s over the incredibly mild sexual harassment claims against him, and not the fact that he murdered 15,000 elderly New Yorkers in nursing homes with his serial killer COVID executive order.

Have you actually seen the accusations against Cuomo? They pale in comparison to the things that Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Al Gore, Sen. Bob Menendez, former NY Gov. Eliot Spitzer, and former President Grover Cleveland (all Democrats) have been accused to doing to women – or to underage children, in the case of Biden.

But here we are. The only thing we can be certain of is the fact that Andrew Cuomo is being taken out by very powerful people who didn’t want him around anymore. And it’s not because of the mild harassment or the nursing home deaths. It’s probably something much, much worse.
