About Those Weapons You Purchased for the Taliban…

They may be dirt poor and uneducated, but the Taliban are rich in terms of sweet, sweet fully automatic rifles and other gear these days. How ironic is it that the government that forced us to pay for all those weapons wants to take away our right to keep and bear arms here in America? For safety!

Meanwhile, 44 people were shot and 7 people were killed in Chicago over the weekend, where they have some of the strictest gun control laws on the books. You can’t make this stuff up.

If there had been an office pool on how badly Joe Biden would botch the Afghanistan withdrawal, we’re not even sure it would have occurred to any of us to put “Leave all the guns behind” as an option to bet on.

Out of all the things that could have gone wrong, leaving all the guns behind should have been kind of a no-brainer to avoid.

But then we seem to have a different kind of no-brainer in the White House these days. And somehow, it’s okay for the Taliban to have the kinds of weapons that we Americans are banned from owning (and we paid for them!).
