Trump Issues The Perfect Response To Israel Terror Attack

After the attack on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas on October 7, 2023, Republican presidential candidates made public comments about the attack. The way that former President Donald Trump talked about this clash in his comments stood out.

Even though Trump criticized Hamas, he didn’t say that the US should use its resources to help the Israeli government in this war. This was very different from what his GOP opponents said. They want to increase military aid to Israel and are also using the current political situation to support an attack on Iran, which is Israel’s biggest political enemy.

In his October 7 speech, Trump said the following:

“These attacks by Hamas are shameful, and Israel has every right to defend itself with a lot of force. Many news sources say that the Biden Administration paid for these crimes with money from American taxpayers. People thought that the Abraham Accords would bring peace to the Middle East, but Biden tore it down much faster than anyone thought possible. Once more, here we go.”

Some Republican presidential contenders, on the other hand, spoke about their support for Israel with far greater zeal.

Several of these Republicans’ positions were emphasized by Tara Suter of The Hill:

Doug Burgum: “Iran and the groups it backs in Gaza have demonstrated to the world their true colors: they are pure evil. Israel is at war with violent terrorists, and the US should do everything it can to help our democratic friend.”

Chris Christie: “We have to do whatever it takes to help the State of Israel in this very dangerous time, and we must stop the terrible terrorism that is supported by Iran.”

Ron DeSantis: “Israel not only possesses the right to defend themselves against these attacks, but also a duty to do so with huge amounts of force. Take a stand with Israel. The US needs to back Israel up.”

Nikki Haley: “Israel possesses every right to protect its people from terror. We must always support Israel and fight this Iranian government.”

Mike Pence: “The families and troops of our most valued partner are in our thoughts and prayers. Hi @Netanyahu Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, says that Israel is ‘at war.’ America definitely stands with Israel.”

Vivek Ramaswamy: “No one should ever question Israel’s right to continue to exist and defend themselves, and Hamas and Hezbollah, which are backed by Iran, cannot win. The US should also stand with Israel, as I do.”

Tim Scott: “Israel has the right to defend itself, and America must stand by its loyal ally.”

Trump may stay mostly calm about the current situation in Gaza, but we don’t know for sure. There is no important American interest at stake in this fight, so a real America First leader would do everything they could to stay out of it. In addition, the Middle East is always a dangerous place. Any kind of US engagement here could have bad effects and other things that weren’t meant to happen.

In the end, the best thing for the US to do is to stay out of this.

    1. yes you can fix stupid, you can impeach him which should of been the first thing that the GOP done when he got into office. I know, you impeach stupid and what do you get, stupid ii

  1. We can blame Biden up front but who is really pulling his puppet strings behind the scenes? We know he is not capable of making the unfreezing Iranian assets decision alone or any other executive orders. There are handlers making every decision for him he is just the face we see.

  2. I have really thought of what Trump said about staying out of it! That hit home like a brick for me. Let me ask, if your loved ones were in danger would you just sit back? I ask you Donald Trump. If your son was over in Israel and this war came out would you have this caviled attitude? I just want you to think before saying something that could really hurt; you or any American! The Jews have been tried n tried. God brought them thru. Now before you throw my notes in the toilet, I gave backed you all the way! It seems to me you were not thinking of human feelings for our loved ones. When a country was hurt America stepped forward! And in most cases we won- you know why. God was with us. Mist of the Israel people are just trying to live a quiet lifs and get through it! Isn’t that what all of us try to do? I have supported you thru thick n thin… so I’m asking you… go quietly into your favorite room, think if it was your son over in Israel just seeing the site; then the bombshell came, and he was killed! Would you still have the same mind set? Or would you use the first biggest bomb you had and let all hell come down? Please think or explain your remark so people can understand! I sure will be anticipating your return remarks. Deborah

  3. WE STAND WITH ISRAEL. BUT TO GO AND SEND TROOPS THERE. AFTER BIDEN IS SENDING BILLIONS TO UKRAINE, SENDING ALL OR BULLETS THERE, LEAVING OUR MILITARY UNABLE TO PROTECT AMERICA. YES TRUMP WAS ALWAYS SUPPORTING ISRAEL. LOOK WHO IS AGAINST ISRAEL IT IS THE SQUAD, DEMOCRATS ARE NOT FOR ISRAEL. BIDEN HAD A BBQ THAT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM THEN ISRAEL. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP HARPING ON TRUMP, WHO DID MORE FOR AMERICA THEN ANY OTHER PRESIDENT. STOP LISTENING TO ”MSNBC” OR CNN. NEWS MAX WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH.WE ARE TIRED OF THIS TRUMP BASHING.YOU ALL HAVE A VERY SHORT MEMORY.WHO IS LETTING TERRORISTS IN TO OUR COUNTRY WITH THIS OPEN BORDER/ WE WHERE SAVE UNDER TRUMP. BIDEN IS A FAILURE, END OF STORY………….
