Elizabeth Warren just endorsed a Maine Democrat named Graham Platner for U.S. Senate, and she told the world he “has the values” to serve. Those values, apparently, include publicly praising Hamas — the terrorist organization that murdered 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds of hostages, and is designated as a terrorist group by the United States government.
But sure, Liz. Great values. Really top shelf.
You almost have to admire the honesty. For years, Democrats have been doing this awkward little dance where they condemn terrorism with one side of their mouth while coddling the people who support it with the other. Warren just skipped the dance entirely. She walked up to a guy with a documented history of praising a terrorist organization and said, out loud, on the record, that he has the values she’s looking for in a United States Senator.
Well. At least we know what those values are now.
Platner — for those of you who haven’t been following Maine Democratic primary politics, which is most sane humans — made public comments praising Hamas. Not “well, the situation is complicated” comments. Not “both sides have legitimate grievances” comments. Praising. Hamas. The group that paraglided into a music festival and slaughtered kids.
And Warren looked at that and thought: “That’s my guy.”
(This is the same woman who pretended to be Native American to get a job at Harvard, so her judgment has always been… let’s call it creative.)
Here’s what’s actually happening, and it’s worth paying attention to. The anti-Israel wing of the Democratic Party isn’t a fringe anymore. It’s not the squad. It’s not a handful of college protesters. It’s a sitting United States Senator actively endorsing candidates who praise terrorist organizations — and calling it “values.”
That’s not a fringe. That’s the mainstream.
Think about what would happen if a Republican senator endorsed a candidate who had praised, say, the Proud Boys. Not even a terrorist organization — just a group the media doesn’t like. Every network would run it for six straight weeks. There would be hearings. There would be demands for resignation. Jake Tapper would need a second show just to cover all the angles.
But Warren endorses a Hamas sympathizer and it barely cracks the news cycle. Unbelievable.
The excuse — and there’s always an excuse — will be that Warren didn’t know about Platner’s Hamas comments. She just endorsed him on policy. She was focused on his climate positions or his healthcare plan or whatever Democrats pretend to care about this week.
Two problems with that defense. First, if you’re endorsing someone for the United States Senate and you didn’t bother to Google whether he’s praised any terrorist organizations, that’s not a defense — that’s malpractice. You’re telling me Elizabeth Warren’s staff couldn’t spend forty-five seconds on a background check?
Second — and this is the important part — nobody in the Democratic Party seems to care. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the retraction? Where’s Chuck Schumer saying “whoa, hold on, maybe we should take that endorsement back”? Nowhere. Because the Democratic Party in 2026 has decided that praising Hamas isn’t disqualifying. It’s just… a policy position.
“He has the values.”
Yeah. He does. And those values include cozying up to a group that burns families alive in their homes.
This is the same party that spent years lecturing us about “dangerous rhetoric” and “stochastic terrorism” every time Trump posted something spicy on Truth Social. Remember that? Every tweet was an “incitement.” Every rally was a “threat to democracy.” But openly praising the organization that committed the worst massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust? That’s just Maine politics, apparently.
The hypocrisy would be staggering if we weren’t already so used to it.
What Warren did isn’t just a bad endorsement. It’s a signal. She’s telling every Democrat running for office that supporting Hamas won’t cost you the party’s backing. She’s telling the anti-Israel activists that they’ve won. She’s telling Jewish voters — the ones who’ve been loyal Democrats for generations — that their concerns come second to the progressive base.
And she did it with a smile and a press release.
We always knew this was where the Democratic Party was heading. The squad wasn’t an aberration — they were the advance team. And now Elizabeth Warren is rolling out the welcome mat for the next wave of candidates who think praising terrorist organizations is a “value.”
Remember this endorsement. Remember the quote. “He has the values.”
When they tell you who they are, believe them.
