After being seen shaking hands with former President Trump in a picture, celebrity chef Guy Fieri came under attack from an internet troll mob.
This week, Fieri and Trump posed for a picture together at the UFC 290 event held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Trump was also spotted conversing with actors Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg.
Despite his track record of charitable giving, Fieri came under fire from many leftists who were furious that he had been cordial to the former president.
“Congratulations to @GuyFieri for utterly ruining his brand last night by clutching and giggling with Trump. Trump supporters aren’t your audience or fan base, bruh,” tweeted lefty activist Laura Chapin.
Former White Stripes lead vocalist Jack White was one among those who disagreed.
White stated on his Instagram account, “Anyone who ‘normalizes’ or treats this horrible fascist, racist, con artist, filthy piece of s*** Trump with any kind of respect is ALSO awful in my book. That is you Guy Fieri, Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, and Joe Rogan. This isn’t a discussion or argument, but rather a statement from me.”
“Guy Fieri and Donald Trump were spotted together last night, and I have to wonder: What is wrong with both of these celebrities? Why are they attempting to make Trump’s actions seem normal? He is the former president who committed sexual assault and was twice charged, twice impeached. He’s not a decent man,” Harry Sisson, a lefty TikTok influencer, tweeted.
“Trump wrecks the world.” Another critic said, “You can not shake hands with racist, rapist Nazis; the taint will not come off.”
Another response read, “Hey @FoodNetwork, I was aware that Guy Fieri was an outright bigot, but I didn’t realize that he was actually a Fascist too. Boycott Guy Fieri, please.”
Another tweet that urged people to boycott Fieri and his “Flavortown” eateries received more than 16k “likes” as well as 7.2k retweets.
Jack White is a NOBODY who wants attention and the only way he can get it is by criticizing decent people!
