This meme hits the nail on the head. When was the last time that Democrats proposed a solution to a problem that did NOT involve giving money to themselves or their friends, or simply make the problem worse? Happy one-year anniversary on those COVID lockdowns, by the way!
Congress is set to pass a $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill right now, which Democrats are hailing as a big Democrat victory of Democrat-ness. Consider yourself lucky if you’re getting a stimulus check from this bill (Trump’s stimulus), because absolutely no one in the Democrat Party could ever have come up with an idea to help the American people directly.
Meanwhile, most of the COVID bill involves straight-up payoffs and grift from Democrats to other Democrats. It’s jam-packed with pork. It earmarks $350 billion bailouts for state governments (run by Democrats) that wrecked their own economies the worst with COVID lockdowns.
California and New York will get huge bailouts, because they’re run by Democrats and did a terrible job. Red states where GOP governors didn’t destroy their economies will get nothing. And that just scratches the surface of the pork stuffed into this swampy, business-as-usual bill.
