Even though Brett Kavanaugh is sitting comfortably on the bench of the Supreme Court, we must never allow ourselves to forget how he got there. It should have been a routine nomination and confirmation process. But we weren’t allowed to have that. Democrats in the Senate decided that we have to make a political spectacle out of absolutely everything.
One after another, Democratic lawmakers pounced on every sexual assault allegation they could find — anything to justify blocking Kavanaugh’s confirmation. It didn’t matter that none of the allegations were corroborated with evidence. All that mattered is that we had to “believe all women.” It was this spectacle that led to the death of the #MeToo movement, a hashtag that’s now used as a joke by most social media users.
The media exercised no caution at all when covering the Kavanaugh story. They were happy to follow the lead of Democrats in the Senate. But, you know who did warrant a great deal of caution? Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, apparently, a man who may or may not have killed himself.
We’re not going to launch into conspiracies today, but we’ll let you compare the two cases and decided for yourself if there’s an agenda at play or not.
