A study that came out this week shows that former President Trump and current President Biden are practically tied in the polls.
In a possible repeat between Trump and Biden in 2020, a Wall Street Journal poll found that Trump had 40% support and Biden had 39%. Only 3% of people voted for a third-party candidate, while 17% were still unsure.
If all the other candidates were taken out of the picture, Trump and Biden were tied with 46 percent of the vote each, while 8 percent of respondents were still unsure.
The poll, which had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points, was performed from August 24–30 among 1,500 American voters.
Given the charges against Trump, Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio and Democrat pollster Michael Bocian, who worked together on the survey, told the WSJ that they found it shocking that a possible general election repeat was polling so close.
“That’s a great example of just how twisted and warped reality has become,” he said. “If this were any other place or time, this race wouldn’t be happening the way it is.”
The study also found that none of the other GOP prospects for president are as strong as Trump.
How sane people can vote for and think that Biden is a good President must be totally brain dead.He isx not mentally or physically capable of taking your dog for a walk and you think that this senile crook can lead our country. Are you blind ,deaf and dumb and don’t see the destruction and sell out of our wonderful former America.
Amen!
Unfortunately too many voters just look at whether or not a candidate has a “D” behind their name. For those voters, a real donkey could be but on the ballot with a “D” behind it, and it would get their vote. They don’t care about character, policy, values, or track record; all that matters is that there is that “D”.
