In terms of overall primetime viewers and viewers aged 25 to 54, far-left MSNBC defeated both Fox News and CNN for the first time in nearly five years.
“For the first time since 2018 in primetime among adults 25–54 and overall viewers, MSNBC defeated Fox News and CNN. It had the highest average primetime audience since the 2022 midterm elections this past week, with 1.52 million total viewers, making it the most popular basic cable network. In primetime, MSNBC averaged 172,000 adults 25-54, greater than any of its competitors in the cable news industry and eighth overall on basic cable.”
“In recent weeks, MSNBC has posed a threat to Fox News’ dominance in cable news ratings. Left-leaning personalities Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Alex Wagner have slowly gained viewers from disgruntled CNN viewers while right-leaning Fox News has been losing some viewers in primetime since Tucker Carlson’s departure.”
Fox’s Waterloo is turning out to be firing Tucker Carlson. As they did with Bill O’Reilly, their former top man, Fox’s cucks were arrogantly confident they could fire Carlson and still succeed. That is, in fact, turning out to be a case of hubris before the fall. As a self-made brand, Tucker Carlson can thrive outside the Fox News platform. In reality, Tucker Carlson appears to have been needed by Fox News.
Regarding CNNLOL, it’s clear that the left-wing propaganda organization is doomed since it promotes violence and conspiracy theories.
With its typical primetime demo viewership levels, Fox News nearly lost to CNN.
How awful must you be to lose to CNN in anything?
It’s time to accept that I was mistaken about another thing. While I correctly predicted that Carlson would be just fine and would keep influencing public discourse, I also stated that “Fox News will be just fine.”
I’ve never been happier to be incorrect, though.
In May, Fox News lost a third of its audience, making MSNBC the dominant cable news channel today. This may not continue. The future? I am certain that Fox would end up eating MSNBC’s dust for a long time to come if Rachel Maddow was working five days per week as opposed to one.
I am also aware that Fox has long taken advantage of its captive audience. However, that audience is now no longer captive since there is now true cable news competition in the shape of several podcasts, Newsmax TV, and OAN. Additionally, that audience has lost faith in a source that will most likely call Arizona for Joe Biden in the midst of the Republican Convention in 2024.
Screw fox news, I used to watch fox 5 to 10 hours a day depending on what was going on, now it’s 0. Now I watch Newsmax and Oan. I prefer honest reporting.
