Fox Moderator Trolls Conservatives With Hot-button Topic

During the Republican presidential primary debate this week, Fox News moderator Martha MacCallum referred to abortion as a “losing issue” for Republicans heading into the 2024 presidential campaign.

MacCallum used the failure of some ballot measures and other things to back up her claim. It seemed like she was trying to get Republican presidential candidates to change their views on abortion.

“Since the Dobbs ruling, abortion has become a losing issue for Republicans,” according to MacCallum. “Abortion rights in our country have been supported throughout six state referendums. As the elections approach, further referendums on this are scheduled to be held even in red states.”

The remarks come as pro-life groups and politicians determine how to handle the problem of abortion now that it is back in the hands of the states along with their elected officials. Some Republicans prefer to let each state decide what to do with unborn babies, while others want a federal ban after 15 weeks, when unborn babies are believed to be able to feel pain.

In the questions they raised, the moderators didn’t talk much about pro-life wins since the ruling in Dobbs. Instead, they asked candidates if they would back federal legislation that would restrict abortion.

Since the Dobbs ruling was made by the Supreme Court, 25 states, or roughly half of the country, have implemented some kind of law to protect unborn children. Every governor who passed pro-life protections was re-elected the last time they ran for office.

  1. the right to murder a child in the womb is not up for discussion or a matter of preference. It is not an issue that is privileged, not an issue that needs to have referendums, and discussion groups. “My Body” choices is still murder, the woman who takes this route because someone tells her it is her right is lying to her and is a murderer just as though they tore the body of the infant apart themselves. The insanity of this issue is based upon “free” sex and apparently the death of the infant is just tough luck for the child in the womb. The natural laws of reproduction are part of the issue that is overlooked. Allowing oneself to have sex is governed by natural processes, the result of sex is childbearing. Men and women know this and when this law is ignored, and a child is conceived the right to purge is a matter of murder. There is no right to purge! Sex is natural, but there are responsibly that goes with it. Murdering outside of the womb is punishable by death, just because the murder is done inside of the body does not make it any less murder.

    1. what happened to birth control!?
There were all kinds of advertisements for it but don’t see it anymore!! Abortion makes more money? Sure it does. No need to be responsible, let the taxpayers pay for it b

  2. THERE SHOULD BE A FEDERAL LAW THAT SAYS THAT IN THE EVENT. FOR ANY REASON. A ABORTION IS GOING TO BE DONE, A FULL-FLEDGED FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT THE EXPENSE OF THE ABORTIONEEE ,INCLUDING CASKET, COMPLETE FUNERAL, AND PURCHASED BURIAL PLOT FOR THE DECEASED…PAID UP FRONT..AND IF THE ABORTIONEEE DOESNT COMPLY IN FULL, THEY EITHER HAVE TO SPEND THEIR LIFE IN PRISON WITH NO CHANCE OF PAROLE FOR FIRST DEGREE PREMEDITATED MURDER OR FACE A CHOICE OF A VOLUNTEERED EXECUTION…THEIR CHOICE..
