Even if he is found guilty of one of the 38 felonies included in this week’s indictment against him, former President Trump said that he will “never leave” the 2024 presidential campaign.
“I won’t ever go,” Trump assured Politico. “Look, if I had departed, I would have done so before the 2016 race. That one was difficult. Theoretically, that was impossible.”
While on route to speaking engagements at the Republican Party conventions in North Carolina and Georgia, Trump chatted with the publication.
This week, Trump made his indictment public. The inquiry into how Trump had handled White House records by Special Counsel Jack Smith is what resulted in the charges. After the George Soros-supported Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg had revealed that a grand jury had indicted Trump on the charges it had went after in a case claiming he had fabricated company records, this indictment marked the second against the former president.
Speaking of Smith and other senior DOJ officials, Trump referred to them as “thugs and degenerates who were out to get him.”
Trump told Politico that while he does not want to take a plea agreement, he left the door open to doing so “where they compensate me some damages.”
If he triumphs in the 2024 presidential election, Trump replied when asked whether he may pardon himself, “I do not believe I’ll ever have to. I did nothing wrong,” he responded.
Trump stated he did not welcome the indictment despite his fundraising figures increasing after the indictment.
“Nobody wants to be charged,” as claimed by Trump. “I don’t care whether my polling numbers increased a great deal. I do not want to be charged. I have never faced charges. I’ve lived my whole life, and now every two months I’m charged. It has been political.”

The present President is an evil man….I believe a disciple of the devil. Perhaps he is part of God’s plan to wake up America, but Biden has ruined this country in two +years more than all the former Presidents put together, and yet our citizens still admire him.
