Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard School of Law professor emeritus, claimed this week that DA Fani Willis had prosecuted former President Trump along with 18 people for a “conspiracy” that was similar to what the Democrats did when they challenged the 2000 election.
The Trump team’s methods, such as making claims of fraud, were the same as what Democrats did when they said that Republicans who supported then-Governor George W. Bush stole the election from then-Vice President Al Gore.
“We questioned the election and did many of the same things that are done today, and many individuals praised us for it. I published a book called “Supreme Injustice” that sold a lot of copies. “Now they have declared it a crime,” Dershowitz said.
Dershowitz also said that both the state and federal charges against Trump represented the “weakest” he has ever seen against a presidential contender, and that they gave Republicans the chance to do the same thing to Democrats, which is what Alexander Hamilton feared would happen and lead to the politicization of punishment.
Trump and other defendants are named in an indictment that alleges seemingly innocuous actions like tweeting in order to turn on the TV, booking a meeting space, and requesting a phone number have all been a part of a larger criminal conspiracy.

The double standard embraced by the Democrats is almost amusing, and a hard pill to swallow. The fact they used a phone call from Trump to the current Ukraine president requesting facts about the Biden Crime Families activities which did not suggest a Quid pro quo exchange of funding to impeach Trump and then they embrace Dementia Joe after viewing his outright bragging about withholding $1,000,000,000.00 of taxpayer funds if they don’t fire a Prosecutor looking into corruption of Burisma. What did that have to do with American Interests? Nothing.
